We are 15 minutes drive from the M5 motorway and a few minutes drive from the Quantock Hills and the renowned Hestercombe, a popular wedding venue and famous for its gardens.

We are also close to Somerset County Cricket Ground and the West Somerset Railway. Cheddon Fitzpaine village is a short walk away and boasts the lovely 17th century St Mary’s Church.

Taunton is famous for the Somerset County Cricket Ground which is about 10 minutes drive away and is close to the West Somerset Railway which offers steam train travel from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead passing through through picturesque Quantock villages. It is possible to break your journey at Dunster which is full of interesting and historical buildings including the famous Dunster Castle and gardens owned by the National Trust.

A little further afield are opportunities to explore Exmoor National Park, Sedgmoor and Dartmoor and we are less than 2 hours drive from The Eden Project to the south and Cardiff to the north and west over the Severn Bridge.
